spam, spam, bacon and spam

Over the last two weeks the most action my Gmail account has seen is spam. Each day I receive several variations of the word Viagra. Some days it's Viapra or Vdarga or Vigria. The combinations never stop nor does the spam. I'm not quite sure how I got the spam or when it will stop. It even started going to my work email which has become quite a nuisance. It's driving me crazy.

To see someone else who HATES spam, click on the link in the title. Blessed Monty Python. As a side note, one year my siblings and I listened to the Final Rip repeatedly on a family holiday. I think I had each sketch memorized and my parents likely had to take multiple meds to keep from going insane. We also listened to some other comedy tape that my brother had. All I remember is a song that said "boot to the head, na na... boot to the head na na... boot to the head, na na. BOOT TO THE HEAD." If anyone knows that reference I'd like to look it up.

speaking of spam, mine has gone from the mundane to sexually explicit. My spam folder is now x-rated.

At least with gmail, you can get a selection of spam recipes in your spam folder. None of which (as far as I know) use the word V!@gr@

mr. p, i think that makes you an anglophile.

aisy, I feel your spam pain. Although, the best spam I ever got was a mini-virus that my friend designed that would turn up your computers volume and sing in a shrill little voice "Hey everybody, I'm looking at porno!" I keep thinking that if only people did cool spam that I'd hate it less.

I believe Boot to the Head/Ti Kwon Leep would be the Frantics, maybe both...here's a link with audio...

and another with mp3's...

happy listening.

Aha. He beat me to it. Yes, the Frantics. I grew up on that stuff. Was it grade 9 (that's Canadian for 9th grade)? Brings back fond memories of the Dr. Demento show. I counted myself among its faithful Sunday midnight listeners.

For a good time, locate "Bulbous Bouffant" by The Vestibules. Our band used to cover that "song". And that's saying a lot, considering some members had no true rhythym.
