afternoon delight

On day three of seven, I thought I'd wow my readers with my poetic skills.

Although it's not yet official,
And my excitement's initial,
If it is true
I'm no longer blue,
As my love for AD is not superficial!

Arrested Development is one of those television gems that makes my week sublime.

i think if they didn't feel in jeopardy (like they did with the bastardly fox folks) that we'd see a lot more of the earlier type of episodes. i still believe it is far superior to any comedies out right now.

Even when AD isn't as good as it was in the first few seasons, it's still the best show on TV.

I'm excited, especially if it is on Showtime, because that would give them a lot more freedom.

i watched the first season and thought it was genius but somewhere in the second season i lost interest...either the show wasn't as good anymore or the novelty of it wore off.
the same thing happened to me for My Name is Earl. now the only show i can watch is Lost. i can't fathom how people can watch 3 hours of TV a day. it's unreal.

"gonna find my baby gonna hold on tight lookin' forward to a little afternoon delight"

"my motto's always been 'when it's right it's right' and the thought of lovin you is gettin'me so excited"

"sky rockest in flight!"
"afternoon delight!"

"oooohhhhhhaaaafternoon delight"

aislinn is having sex today.

and that was all from memory. suckas.

nice memory david... although i wish i was having sex (instead, it was the substitute of chocolate), that reference comes from one of my all time favourite AD moments.

i'm an optimist eyun. it will still be funnier than any garbage out there. i've only seen two episodes of "earl" and it just didn't grab me.

I am with you on Earl, Aisy. I expected great things but felt let down. Maybe if I had gone into it with the same expectations I have for the other shows on tv, I would love it.

I still try to describe the Afternoon Delight episode to non watchers, but like all AD, it has to be seen.

Now, if I can just find someone who has Showtime, I would be even happier about the rumor.

I don't really think My name is earl, and AD are on the same level of show. But i really do like my name is earl, and i liked arrested development. thye are the only two things i watch, but i do worry about the new seasons of AD though. They did wrap it up pretty good and solid. are they going to work in some psych... just kidding plot line twist? maybe they could make a variety show out of it. yeah maybe that might be a good idea... i think the arrested development variety hour would be awesome. with their writers it would be the best variety show around. i have now changed my tune. bring it on.

I like Earl, but I don't think its ever been on the same level of AD. AD was frantic the last two seasons, but I think it was because of the show's precarious situation. Anyway, I got an e-mail from G.O.B. on myspace (each of the characters have a profile and they are either ran by crazy fans or insiders) saying:

I was up late last night searching for Tony Wonder's "Use Your Allusion" special or a Card Sharks rerun, and I found this really cool network. They had some lesbian show on and there was this super-thin chick with huge cans! What I wouldn't do to be on 26 episodes of that show.

I mean, come on! What a great channel!

Personally, I think its a crazed fan, but who knows?
